Job summary

Preformed-Line-Products in Albemarle, NC is seeking a Process Technician for 2nd shift to analyze, optimize production methods and train new employees. You will operate and troubleshoot production equipment and work with engineering to resolve manufacturing problems.

You will document methods, follow safety practices, and maintain ISO records while supporting continuous improvements on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing / Technical related discipline.
• Ability to analyze production methods and suggest improvements.
• Willingness to train new employees and work with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering to develop new methods, tools, and procedures.
• Analyze operations to improve methods, tooling, and reduce costs.
• Document methods in Work Instructions and maintain records.
• Plan production for new/complex products and coordinate with supervision.
• Set up and operate production and prototype machinery from routes.
• Troubleshoot and perform daily maintenance on equipment.
• Train others on setups and operations; maintain trainee evaluations.
• Report malfunctions to maintenance or supervisor.
• Follow safety practices.
• Perform related duties as required.
• Seek solutions using team concept.
• Maintain ISO documentation.
