Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. in Oxnard, CA is seeking an Engineering Technician 2 to join our engineering team. This associate, W2 role supports engineers by performing test and technical tasks across component and system level test plans.

The position requires reading schematics, executing tests, maintaining documentation, and traveling up to 10% between Oxnard and Goleta sites as needed. Shifts vary, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of related education/experience.
• 2+ years experience as a technician in manufacturing/engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and process documentation.
• Experience in Cleanroom Environment and Environmental Test Area.
• Overtime and weekend availability as needed.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide test and technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks.
• Execute comprehensive component and system-level test plans and tests.
• Participate in test planning and readiness reviews.
• Analyze measurement requirements and equipment tolerances.
• Maintain documented best practices for test processes and equipment.
• Support internal and external customers' needs and troubleshoot test issues.
