Pay Range:
$30 – $35/hr. The pay rate may differ depending on your skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.

- Looking for a Manufacturing Technician 2 to support the Mission Enabling Products (MEP) Business Unit. Products include spacecraft panels, bus structures, precision optical structures, deployable structural systems and mechanisms, solar arrays, and antenna reflectors. Our products are on virtually every U.S. satellite built in the last 20 years.
We are seeking aTest Technician (Level 2)to join our team located inOxnard, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Run functional, electrical, or mechanical tests on components following written instructions
- Document results, log errors, and report non-conformances to engineers, quality and manufacturing
- Identify and analyze equipment failures or defects during testing Execute comprehensive component and system level test plans, procedures and test events
- Participate in test planning and test readiness reviews
- Analyze measurement requirements and equipment measurement tolerances
- Define and maintain documented best practices for test processes and equipment
- Contribute to maintaining and improving test equipment and infrastructure
- Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, (component and systems level test results and engineering design changes)
- Conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
- Maintains engineering documentation and reports (procedures and test reports)
- Support internal and external customers’ needs.
- Identify, troubleshoot and solve test problems and provide assistance to manufacturing, inspection and test engineering related issues.
- Analyze data and provide reports in a variety of customers’ format.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 3 years’ additional education and/or related experience.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams, plus experience with multimeters, calipers, or torque wrenches
- Attention to detail, ability to spot minor flaws and recording accurate data
- 3+ years overall experience as a technician in the manufacturing/engineering field
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Experience working with a Microsoft Office product and process documentation
- Experience working in Cleanroom Environment and Environmental Test Area
- Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to manipulate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with working around delicate spacecraft hardware an advantage
