Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries Mission Technologies in Huntsville, Alabama, seeks Engineering Technicians to support DoD contracts. The role focuses on design, build, troubleshooting, delivery, maintenance, and support of trainers and test systems for Army and Navy programs.

Ideal candidates will have relevant experience and a Secret clearance; responsibilities include reading production drawings and wiring diagrams and using test equipment.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field.
• Secret Security Clearance required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
