Job summary

Engineered Corrosion Solutions Llc is seeking an Engineering Technician to support development, testing, and validation of innovative products that address corrosion challenges across industries.

You will build prototypes, set up instrumentation, collect data, and assist engineers in evaluating performance while ensuring accurate documentation and compliant lab operations.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology or related field.
  • 5+ years in engineering lab, product development, manufacturing, or testing environment.
  • Experience building prototypes, test fixtures, or mechanical assemblies.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
  • Experience with test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build, assemble, and maintain prototypes, test fixtures, and experimental equipment.
  • Support product validation, reliability, environmental, and performance testing.
  • Set up instrumentation, sensors, data acquisition systems, and measurement equipment.
  • Conduct tests according to procedures and document results.
  • Collect and analyze test data; identify observations and issues.
  • Troubleshoot prototype, equipment, and test setup issues; propose solutions.
  • Fabricate and assemble mechanical/electromechanical components; assist with prototype builds.
  • Maintain lab equipment, tools, and workspace; ensure safety and organization.

Actual starting pay will be based on experience, skills, and overall qualifications. This is a non-exempt position and pay is subject to overtime based on hours worked.About the RoleWe are looking for an Engineering Technician to support the development, testing, and validation of innovative products that help solve corrosion challenges across a variety of industries. This role plays a critical part in turning engineering concepts into working prototypes, test systems, and production ready solutions.This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys hands on technical work, troubleshooting complex problems, and working closely with engineers throughout the product development process.
