Qualifications

  • Associate of Applied Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years in industrial operations setting or equivalent manufacturing experience.
  • Electrical, mechanical, machinist experience.
  • Lean 6 Sigma training a plus.
  • Additional supervisory or leadership training a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install, test, and commission capital equipment ensuring that product design requirements are met per manufacturer and AAON procedures.
  • Provide technical training and cross training on all shifts to process leaders, line mechanics, and operating teams.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing routings.
  • Perform cycle time and time study analyses.
  • Lead Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 5S workshop activities and events.
  • Support manufacturing with the implementation of efficient and reliable Lean Manufacturing processes.
  • Facilitate systematic problem solving and implementing solutions to solve the root-cause of problems related to non-conforming material and corrective action processes.
