Job summary

Salary Range: $20.00 To $30.00 Annually

Key Responsibilities

• PerformSMD soldering, rework, and assembly of electronic components and circuit boards.
• Assemble, inspect, and testwire harnesses and cable assemblies.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and work instructions.
• Conduct functional testing, continuity testing, and basic electrical verification of assemblies.
• Support electronics troubleshooting, repair, and rework activities as needed.
• Document test results, assembly issues, nonconformances, and repair actions.
• Use common electronics tools and equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, soldering stations, crimp tools, and test fixtures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve assembly or test issues.

Required Qualifications

• Experience withsurface-mount device soldering and electronic assembly.
• Experience withwire harness assembly and testing.
• Good computer skills, including the ability to use common office software, test software, data entry systems, and digital work instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.

Preferred Qualifications

• IPC certification within the last 4 years, especially:
  • J-STD-001
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620
  • IPC-7711/7721
• Current IPC certification preferred; certification renewal is typically required every 2 years.
• Electronics troubleshooting experience at the component, board, harness, or system level.
• Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, and multimeters.
• Experience working in a production, prototype, defense, aerospace, automotive, or engineering lab environment.
