Qualifications

• 0–4 years electronics assembly or repair experience.
• Ability to read schematics and follow controlled processes.
• Basic soldering proficiency; IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-J-STD-001 preferred.
• Basic understanding of ESD controls and safe handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical and electromechanical assemblies.
• Perform IPC-compliant soldering and rework on PCBs and wiring harnesses.
• Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and automated test equipment.
• Interpret schematics, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
• Document repairs and test results in ERP/MES systems.
• Support quality, root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
• Work in an ESD-controlled environment following safety and quality standards.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas in line with 5S/lean practices.
• Escalate unfamiliar defects or failures to senior technicians or supervisors.

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support our electrical assembly, testing, and repair operations in a controlled manufacturing environment. This role works across production and repair & return (R&R) activities and offers the opportunity to grow from foundational assembly tasks into advanced component-level diagnostics and repair.

This is a fully on-site position in Huntsville, AL.

What You'll Do

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electromechanical assemblies

• Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test equipment
• Interpret schematics, work instructions, and engineering documentation

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Ability to read schematics and follow controlled processes
• Basic soldering proficiency; IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-J-STD-001 preferred
• Basic understanding of ESD controls and safe handling practices
• Active SECRET security clearance
• Ability to lift 25-40 lbs. as required
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
