Job summary

Dodge County is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Highway department in a full-time role. The incumbent will perform routine engineering, surveying, and maintenance tasks per project instructions and requirements, contributing to the county’s infrastructure projects.

Minimum qualifications include a two-year Civil Engineering tech degree, two years of experience, a valid MN driver’s license, and MN/DOT Level II certification (or eligibility to obtain). Deadline: August 27, 2026.

• Valid MN driver's license
• Hold current certification as a "Level II MN/DOT Certified Construction Tech" in the areas of Bituminous, Concrete, Grading and Base, Bridge Construction and Erosion and Sediment Control Site Management; or able to obtain.
