The Greenbrier Companies is seeking an Engineering Tech to create and test tools, jigs, and fixtures to streamline manufacturing. You will help prepare operation sheets, review changes, and collaborate with engineering and shop teams to ensure safe, efficient production.

Ideal candidates have experience reading drawings, working with tooling and fixturing, and documenting records accurately under time constraints.

Qualifications

Reading and understanding mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Experience in tooling and fixturing processes.
Ability to document records accurately under tight timeframes.
Ability to perform visual inspections for safety and quality.
Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Responsabilités

Create, test, and introduce tools, jigs, and other engineering devices from shop drawings.
Develop methods and fixtures to assemble parts and assure product quality.
Prepare detailed operation sheets with materials, tooling, and fixture requirements.
Present engineering changes and shop condition updates for review.
Collaborate with engineering staff and shop supervisors to optimize processes.
Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
