Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Manager, Engineering & Tech Svcs to lead the Engineering & Technical Services team within the Power Generation PMO. You will guide engineers across a portfolio of new construction projects and expansions of existing sites.

Based in The Woodlands, TX, the role requires strong governance, safety, and regulatory compliance, with accountability for scope, cost, schedule, and quality throughout the project lifecycle from FEED through turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; MBA/MS preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• 5+ years of project/operations management experience in energy/utility.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team; set clear objectives and accountability.
• Establish and govern technical standards, specifications, and QA practices for generation projects.
• Provide lifecycle governance across Stage‑Gate deliverables and change control.
• Define technical scope and criteria with Project Development Group; prepare formal decision documents.
• Act as Contract Manager for engineering contracts and manage Owner’s Engineer.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Controls, Supply Chain, and Ops to align scope, budget, schedule, and risk.
• Review and approve contractor deliverables; resolve technical queries and interface issues.
• Support commissioning, performance, reliability, and emissions testing; ensure turnover packages.
