Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Engineering Technician Level 3 or 4 to support CCA re-design efforts, developing and maintaining test plans, procedures, and reports with minimal supervision. The role includes executing formal qualification tests and traveling to support the AARGM ER LRIP programs.

You will work in a cross-functional team with engineers to test software builds and troubleshoot production issues while interacting with external customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of related education or experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing, production, and engineering processes.
• Ability to interpret 2D drawings.
• Computer skills must include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• U.S. citizenship with an Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist to develop Test plans, Procedures, and reports.
• Identify process improvements, capture feedback from the team to implement improvements
• Respond to technical issues associated with the product being fabricated.
• Work with the team to help troubleshoot and repair systems or equipment
• Work in a multifunctional team to solve production related issues.
• Work as part of an Integrated Product Team to support both internal and external customers.
• Execute test procedures for formal testing.
• Collaborate with engineers to create test cases to test functionality of software builds.
