Job summary

DeWys Metal Solutions is a people-first, family-owned contract manufacturer located just 20 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids. We seek an Engineering Tech to provide accurate engineering and manufacturing documentation while supporting engineers and shop floor operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CAD experience preferred.
• Experience creating or modifying engineering drawings and documentation.
• Experience with CAD software and manufacturing processes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with projects by detailing drawings using CAD.
• Create and update prints, templates, and manufacturing documentation.
• Maintain control plans and update descriptions as needed.
• Develop manufacturing routings and BOMs, including operation sequences.
• Assist with engineering questions and continuous improvement activities.
• Support shop floor duties and communicate with team members.
