DeWys Metal Solutions is seeking a highly organized Sheet Metal Programmer to join our manufacturing team. You will program CNC laser cutting and sheet metal forming brake press machines for new and existing products, collaborating with engineering to ensure manufacturability and quality.
You will report to the engineering manager and support the outputs of the engineering department across the company, driving continuous improvement and material efficiency on the shop floor.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for programming CNC laser cutting and sheet metal forming brake press machines for new and existing products. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work cohesively with other departments to achieve successful product launches. This position will report directly to the engineering manager and support the outputs of the engineering department to the rest of the company.
While performing the duties of this job, the team members regularly communicate with team members, shop floor team members, and occasionally with customers. This position requires frequent standing and walking on the shop floor. The team member is required to work on a computer terminal daily. Occasionally may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
The work environment includes both office and manufacturing floor settings. While on the manufacturing floor, the team member may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and loud noise levels. Appropriate PPE is required in designated areas.
