Job summary

Rosendin is seeking an Engineering Team Lead in San Francisco to provide technical oversight and design team management for engineering projects. The role includes financial planning, resource allocation, and staff mentoring within a dynamic, employee-owned organization.

Ideal candidates bring a PE license, 8+ years of engineering experience, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Travel up to 25% and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences.
• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of Engineering Experience.
• Registration as a licensed US-based Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and develop design fee.
• Prepare and oversee work plans for engineering resources.
• Oversee Engineers, Designers and Modeling staff.
• Communicate with Project Manager or Executive on effort and deliverables.
• Lead Engineering CAC effort and interaction with PM.
• Resolve complex design and coordination problems.
• Coordinate with city, state, and county officials and regulators.
• Attend project design meetings and conduct site visits.
• Perform Value Engineering studies.
• Act as Engineer of Record for projects.
