Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Team Leader to guide a ~10-person manufacturing engineering group at Genesee in Basom, NY. You will oversee transfers, ramp-up activities, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve targets in safety, quality, and delivery.

This hands-on role requires a strong engineering leader with lean/Six Sigma experience and a track record of building capable, high‑performance teams in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years manufacturing engineering experience, incl 1-3 years in leadership.
• Experience with high-precision machining (CNC, milling, turning).
• Green Belt or Black Belt Six Sigma preferred.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of ~10 manufacturing engineers.
• Oversee equipment and process transfers to the Genesee site.
• Collaborate with production, quality, supply chain for ramp-up.
