Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a senior software engineering leader to drive architecture, design and delivery across enterprise-grade solutions. You will oversee the full SDLC, guide modernization of legacy .NET apps, and champion secure, scalable software while mentoring engineers and fostering collaboration.

You will partner with product managers and architects to align technical decisions with business goals, promote a healthy team culture, and drive AI-enabled testing and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience leading software teams.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale applications across the full SDLC.
• Strong C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC/Web API and SQL Server expertise.
• Web technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, XML.
• Experience with Visual Studio, TFS and Agile methodologies.
• Designed scalable architectures and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, security, automated testing, and code reviews.
• Experience with Azure cloud services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of scalable, high-performance software systems.
• Ensure best practices, CI/CD, testing, code review and security standards.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align technical decisions with business goals.
• Participate in regular retrospectives to improve team processes.
• Coach engineers and bridge technical execution with leadership.
• Drive AI tool integration in the development lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Architecture teams, CloudOps, and Security.
• Guide modernization of legacy .NET apps, API development, and cloud-enabled solutions.
• Oversee design, development, integration and support across enterprise platforms.
