Rocket Companies, Inc. in Detroit seeks a Team Leader, Engineering within Servicing Technology to drive a high-impact team of software engineers.

You’ll shape delivery, coach engineers, and stay close to the tech stack from Next.js/React to .NET/C# on AWS and EKS, guiding AI-native development and cross-team collaboration across distributed groups. You will partner with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous needs into a clear roadmap, while championing ownership,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience, including hands-on full-stack work.
• 2+ years of experience leading or managing software engineers.
• Working knowledge of Next.js or React and a NestJS GraphQL integration layer.
• Working knowledge of .NET / C# and NestJS GraphQL.
• Experience delivering software on AWS with EKS / Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to develop engineers, manage performance, and deliver through a team.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of full-stack engineers, owning hiring, onboarding, performance, and career growth.
• Own your team’s delivery: planning, prioritization, execution, and predictable, high-quality outcomes.
• Set technical direction across front end and back end to align with architecture and business goals.
• Ensure applications are reliably built, deployed, and operated on AWS and EKS via CI/CD pipelines.
• Champion AI-native engineering and drive adoption of AI tools and workflows.
• Partner with product, design, data, and business stakeholders to translate needs into a roadmap.
• Remove blockers, manage risk, and communicate status and decisions clearly to leadership.
• Foster ownership, inclusion, continuous learning, and strong engineering practices.
