Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking an Engineering Support Specialist I for the Manufacturing Operations team in Pullman, WA. The role focuses on basic testing, services, and troubleshooting of SEL products under guidance, with emphasis on collaboration and continuous improvement.

The position supports robotic systems, automated stations, and root cause investigations while growing technical proficiency and contributing to high-quality customer support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years familiarity with Manufacturing and Engineering.
• Proficient with Windows and MS Office tools.
• Strong written, verbal, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic testing, services, or troubleshooting of SEL products per defined procedures.
• Provide status updates to SEL staff and customers.
• Support robotic systems and automated stations.
• Assist with root cause investigations of automation-related failures.
• Support implementation of continuous improvement projects.
