Delta Staffing LLC in Troy, MI is seeking an Engineering Administrator to keep the plastics engineering team organized, supplied, and moving. You will manage 3D data, part lists, purchase orders and sample parts while coordinating team meetings and kaizen initiatives.

The role emphasizes office-based work with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1 to 4 years of engineering support experience.
• Understand basics of purchase orders, inventory control, shipping and document management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (2016 or newer).
• Careful handling of engineering documents and 3D data.
• Meet deadlines reliably with strong organization, scheduling, problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and outside customers, including some negotiation.

Responsabilidades

• Transfer 3D engineering data and keep documentation organized, secure and easy to find.
• Review customer engineering change information and route it to the right people.
• Check the weekly part number list for new arrivals and discontinued parts.
• Prepare purchase order requests and keep administrative paperwork moving.
• Order and pick up sample and benchmark parts from dealerships and salvage yards (yes, junkyard runs count as work).
• Package and ship samples, and keep the storage area clean, organized and inventoried.
• Complete workplace organization checklists with your team leader, Kaizen improvement efforts and plan team-building events.
