Job summary

Ulteig seeks an Engineering Supervisor in the Automation, Integration, and System Protection group to lead a subset of engineers and technicians responsible for full scope of protective relay settings and coordination studies for critical infrastructure.

The role emphasizes leadership, project oversight, and collaboration with sales, project management, and other business units, with extensive hands-on technical work and on-site commissioning.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Master’s degree in Engineering is a plus.
• Experience with system modeling and fault analysis software (ASPEN, CAPE, ETAP, EasyPower).
• Strong knowledge of protection schemes for 12.47 kV to 765 kV systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead project reviews: drawings, protection settings, and calculations.
• Perform short-circuit and fault analyses to ensure system reliability.
• Design and optimize relay settings and coordination strategies for critical infrastructure.
• Develop advanced protection schemes for transmission, distribution, generation, and renewables.
• Manage engineering activities through proposal, design, and construction phases.
