Job summary

Ulteig is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead a subset of engineers in protection settings and coordination studies, driving reliable power system design. This role emphasizes leadership, technical oversight, and effective resource management across multi-disciplinary teams.

The candidate will interact with sales, project management, and other units while guiding project execution from proposal through construction, with on-site commissioning as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 6+ years of experience in the engineering field preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in system modeling and protection settings development.
• Proficiency with protection software: ASPEN, CAPE, ETAP, EasyPower, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of protective relay settings and coordination studies.
• Review project drawings, system protection settings, and calculations; provide leadership.
• Manage scope, project contracts, and schedules; handle change orders.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines and PM groups on large projects.
• Support business development and maintain client relationships; oversee on-site activities.
