Job summary

Maison Métier in New Orleans seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations, ensure preventive tasks are completed, and keep facilities safe and fully operational for guests and staff.

Candidates should have 2–4 years hotel/industrial maintenance, strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, and supervisory experience. OSHA compliance and blueprint reading are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; HVAC/electrical/plumbing training preferred.
• 2–4 years of maintenance/engineering experience in hotels or similar; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and life-safety codes; reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering and maintenance staff on a daily basis.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Respond to guestroom and public area maintenance requests.
• Coordinate contracted services and vendor repairs.
• Maintain PM logs, work orders, and safety inspections.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
• Mentor and train new team members.
• Maintain clean, organized engineering spaces.
