Job summary

Williams Companies, Inc. in Houston seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead a diverse team of engineers and technicians in support of operations.

You will champion safe operations while driving reliability and operability of pipeline systems, acting as the automation technical authority across design, construction and commissioning. The role requires an ABET-accredited degree (or PE), 8+ years in relevant engineering, and preferred leadership experience.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree or PE-licensed with 8+ years in natural gas/petrochemical.
• Minimum six years of engineering experience.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team of engineers and specialists to support operations.
• Improve operability, reliability, and maintainability of assets.
• Coordinate third-party project managers, inspectors, and contractors.
• Support planning, commissioning, and start-up of new/modified facilities.
• Provide technical support across departments for troubleshooting and compliance.
• Manage workforce planning, budgeting, and scheduling with safety focus.
• Serve as technical authority for automation during design, construction, and commissioning.
• Develop risk mitigation for controls and commissioning.
