Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Engineering Technology, or related engineering discipline.
• GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Undergraduate student starting junior or senior year in the Fall after the internship.
• Available for a Summer internship May–August.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ability to organize, analyze, and present information.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort in office, lab, and manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities

• Support technical design and documentation, including CAD models, drawings, BOMs, work instructions, job routings, and ECOs.
• Collect and analyze data, review test results, identify trends, and prepare reports.
• Assist engineering labs, manufacturing and shop-floor teams with testing, production support, time studies, process mapping, project tracking, and issue resolution.
• Contribute to quality, safety, Lean, and continuous-improvement activities.
• Help ensure work meets engineering standards and customer, contract, quality, schedule, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, materials, project management, sales, suppliers and partners while providing responsive, customer-focused support.
• Apply SQDCG principles and complete assigned work accurately, safely, and on time.
