Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Engineering Technology, or another related engineering discipline, in good academic standing.
• GPA 3.2 or higher.
• Must be an undergraduate student starting junior or senior year in the Fall following the internship.
• Available for a Summer internship from May through August.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort in hands-on environments.

Responsibilities

• Support technical design and documentation, including CAD models, drawings, bills of materials, work instructions, job routings, and ECOs.
• Collect and analyze data, review test results, identify trends, prepare reports, and help validate product or process improvements.
• Assist engineering laboratories, manufacturing, and shop-floor teams with testing, production support, time studies, process mapping, project tracking, and issue resolution.
• Contribute to quality, safety, root-cause problem solving, LEAN, process standardization, and continuous-improvement activities.
• Help ensure work meets engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, materials, project management, sales, suppliers, and partners with customer-focused support.
• Apply SQDCG principles and complete assigned work accurately, safely, and on time.
