Job summary

Emerson is seeking a motivated engineering co-op student in the United States to assist in developing, revising, and maintaining engineering standards and procedures. JOB DESCRIPTION
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Supporting development, revision, and maintenance of Engineering standards and procedures
  • Technical communication and documentation
  • Pilot testing of training materials, presentations, tools, and educational resources
  • Participating in cross-functional projects involving Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Product Management
  • Continuous improvement of Engineering Tools and Processes
Who You Are:
  • You define issues and map out a process. You manage uncertainty with confidence. You learn to streamline processes and cut out redundancy.
For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Sophomore standing or above
  • Ability to work full-time during the co-op term
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Proficiency with technical writing and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in the process and procedures of Engineering
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, or similar tools. Mathcad or similar experience desirable
  • Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and willingness to ask questions
