Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in Arizona (Globe-Miami area) seeks an experienced engineer to review and guide engineering projects, and to act as a Project Manager or Technical Advisor for site construction or expansion.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 3+ years' experience (or HS with 7+ years), plus strong analytical, safety, and communication skills. Competitive benefits and a base pay range are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 3+ years of engineering experience (or HS diploma with 7+ years).
• Ability to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions.
• Develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, investigate and develop recommendations for assigned Engineering projects.
• Serve as Project Manager or Technical Advisor for site construction, expansion or modification projects.
• Evaluate and administer contracts with vendors for services and equipment.
• Collaborate in site strategic planning and budgeting for designated Engineering areas.
• Assist in development and evaluation of Appropriation Requests (AR) for capital funding.
• Perform other duties as required.
