The role requires extensive engineering experience, with responsibilities spanning project management, vendor coordination, and regulatory adherence. This position offers opportunities for growth and impact within a major minerals operation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 9 years of engineering experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 5 years of engineering experience.
• Experience in site planning, construction, expansion or modifications.
• Strong knowledge of applicable local, state and federal regulations and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review, investigate and develop appropriate recommendations regarding assigned engineering projects.
• Manage projects and serve as SME on large/complex site planning/construction, expansion or modifications.
• Provide guidance and counsel to the site management team on processes, practices, and regulations.
• Contribute to site strategic planning and budgeting for designated engineering areas.
• Develop and evaluate Appropriation Requests (AR) for capital funding.
• May evaluate and administer contracts with vendors for services and equipment.
• May represent the site on Company steering committees, task forces, or teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
