Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opportunity for a Section Manager Engineering at the Tilden Mine in Ishpeming, MI. This role provides engineering and asset management support for all aspects of the Tilden operation, focusing on site reliability, capital projects, and maintenance engineering.

You will lead a team, direct maintenance and project engineering from initiation to commissioning, and help develop short- and long-range operating plans, budgets, and safety targets.

Formación

• B.S. in Engineering, Metallurgy, or equivalent.
• 10–12 years supervisory/managerial experience in maintenance, operations, and administration.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
• Competent communication skills both oral & written.
• Problem solving skills.
• Sound knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsabilidades

• Manage site reliability engineering: preventative and predictive maintenance, condition-based monitoring, root cause analysis.
• Direct and coordinate project engineering and project management from initiation through commissioning.
• Provide engineering support for asset maintenance, restoration, and equipment improvement activities.
• Assist in developing short- and long-range operating and maintenance plans, budgets, and performance targets for the site.
• Direct, coordinate, and prioritize work requests to meet safety, quality, customer service, and cost goals.
• Direct, coordinate, and motivate department personnel to achieve performance results.
• Assist in determining equipment needs and participate in selecting and integrating equipment.
• Monitor key process indicators to improve efficiency, quality, and cost.
