Qualifications

• Apply engineering principles to operations tasks and provide technical information to internal and external parties.
• Considerable knowledge of federal, state regulations related to traffic operations and traffic engineering principles.
• Strong traffic signal design, operation and software management knowledge.
• Experience in problem solving, planning, coordination and organization.
• Proficient with business management software and detailed tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Regional Maintenance section budgets with forecasts and spend controls.
• Develop and implement Annual Work Program using internal and external resources.
• Maintain a work order tracking system and coordinate contractor activities.
• Plan resources, schedule work, and ensure safety and efficiency of traffic operations.
• Develop performance measures and analytic reports for internal stakeholders.
• Provide engineering guidance to operations groups and liaise with external customers.
