Job summary

GAF is seeking an Engineering Rotational Associate in Myerstown, PA to participate in a two-year program rotating through plant operations and engineering disciplines. You will gain hands-on experience, work with a mentor, and prepare for a Process/Project Engineer II role.

Rotations span one year each, with exposure to problem-solving, project work, and leadership development, designed to accelerate your growth in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, or Systems Engineering.
• Previous internship or co-op in a manufacturing environment.
• Willing to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through experiential learning opportunities anchored to a plant location.
• Lead process design reviews, raw material qualifications, and capability studies.
• Develop cost savings opportunities related to process, procedures, raw materials and waste.
• Proactively identifying engineering opportunities and apply technical expertise to develop and present feasible solutions.
• Leading and/or participating in providing process/mechanical designs and evaluations for capital projects.
• Participating in and supporting product improvement and new product development efforts.
