Position Overview
Support cross-functional engineering and operational projects, enterprise asset management, and reporting initiatives. This role combines project coordination, BMRAM system administration, equipment lifecycle support, and Power BI reporting to improve operational efficiency, data integrity, and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination and Engineering Support
- Lead or support cross-functional engineering and operational projects from planning through execution, managing scope, schedules, action items, risks, documentation, stakeholder alignment, and progress reporting.
- Coordinate project goals and deliverables, identify barriers, recommend adjustments, and communicate status updates and decisions to technical and business stakeholders.
- Support engineering activities related to products, processes, materials, equipment, testing, data analysis, process improvement, specifications, and technical reports.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across project execution, asset management, system workflows, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and Global Systems teams to resolve issues, elevate concerns, and ensure action items are documented and completed.
Asset Management and BMRAM Administration
- Serve as a local administrator and primary site resource for BMRAM, the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. Support user access, permissions, role assignments, troubleshooting, configuration coordination, testing, validation, and deployment.
- Create and maintain equipment master records, asset hierarchies, equipment structures, classifications, locations, attributes, and lifecycle records for commissioning, relocation, retirement, and decommissioning.
- Support preventive maintenance, calibration, work orders, maintenance backlogs, equipment downtime tracking, and spare-parts processes. Monitor overdue activities and coordinate with responsible owners to resolve them.
- Maintain accurate system data and conduct periodic reviews or audits of equipment, maintenance, calibration, work-order, and spare-parts records to support compliance and audit readiness.
- Provide first-line user support, troubleshooting, training, work instructions, and job aids to promote consistent use of standard processes and best practices.
Power BI Reporting and Data Analytics
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards that translate engineering and operational data into actionable metrics, trends, and insights.
- Connect and transform data from Excel, SharePoint, system exports, and other approved sources using Power Query and data-modeling practices to improve data quality and report reliability.
- Partner with report users and data owners to establish sustainable practices for report ownership, refresh schedules, access, version control, documentation, and change management.
- Work with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, measures, visualizations, and success criteria. Present complex information clearly to leadership and operational teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Facilities, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3-7 years of experience supporting project execution in manufacturing, engineering, facilities, maintenance, operations, or a similarly complex environment.
- Experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), including equipment records, preventive maintenance, calibration, work orders, asset hierarchies, or related master data.
- 1-3 years of experience creating and maintaining Power BI reports or dashboards, including data loading, transformation, visualization, refresh management, and user support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify data-quality issues and translate findings into practical actions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently within established procedures, and coordinate effectively across functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation, report preparation, stakeholder updates, training, and presentations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience administering BMRAM/Blue Mountain RAM, IBM Maximo, SAP PM, Infor EAM, or a comparable EAM/CMMS platform.
- Experience supporting equipment lifecycle management, maintenance, calibration, spare parts, equipment reliability, or facilities processes.
- Experience in a regulated medical device or similarly controlled manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, data integrity, validation, change control, equipment controls, and audit-readiness requirements.
- Advanced Power BI skills, including Power Query, data modeling, DAX measures, shared workspaces, access management, and report-performance optimization.
- Experience integrating or consolidating data from Excel, SharePoint, databases, and enterprise-system exports.
- Experience developing standard work, delivering user training, and supporting adoption of new systems, reports, or processes.
- Training or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, project management, data analytics, asset management, or reliability.
