Job description

Our client, a global leader in Commercial Real Estate and Facilities Management is seeking a Data Analyst with expertise in Building Management Systems in the Data Center practice. This full time role will work FULLY REMOTE pays $80K and works M-F 8-5 hours with the need to work across ALL US Time zones (early/late work will be required depending on location). This role contains an ample vacation plan and a strong benefit package.

The key to this highly administrative role is experience and strong understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS), with the ability to extract and report data to leadership for client presentation and account maintenance/update for contractual agreements. The incumbent will:

• Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support around BMS, CMMS, finance and SLAs
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytics models to visualize KPIs and trends.
• Analyze operational metrics including capacity utilization, resource allocation, and project efficiency.
• Support ad hoc analysis and executive reporting
• Develop benchmarking models and forecasting scenarios to support strategic decision making.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to align data sources, improve data quality, and streamline reporting.
• Support budget coordination, reporting, and process tracking, helping to ensure departmental operations run efficiently and align with organizational goals.
• Coordinate budget preparation by researching and collecting input from internal and external stakeholders
• Review monthly department budget reports and maintain expense controls
• Prepare variance commentary and explanations for management review
• Respond to and resolve basic inquiries and requests from internal and external clients
• Track department processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improved service delivery
• Compile operating, financial, and statistical reports
• Gather information for periodic updates related to project resources and fiscal plans
• Assist with developing project plans and cost estimates, including personnel and budget requirements
• Work within standardized procedures to meet deadlines and operational objectives

Qualifications

• Must live in the United States and be authorized to work in the US
• 3+ years experience in a Data Analysis role encompassing data, reporting, budgeting and financial data
• 2+ Years working with any BMS or CMMS technology
• 2+ years working with Power BI dashboards and analytics models
• Proven ability to be analytical, organized, and comfortable working with financial data and standardized processes.
• Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
• Strong Microsoft Powerpoint skills (able to create presentation decks for leadership to deliver to clients)

Preferred but not required

• Masters Degree
