Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C., is hiring an Engineering Project Specialist in Richmond, Virginia. The position supports the coordination, status reporting, and stability of Power Systems Engineering projects that impact Carter Machinery and Power Systems. Candidates with previous service-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are encouraged to apply.

Requirements for the Engineering Project Specialist position include:

1. Self-starter able to work with limited supervision.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
4. Ability to communicate, interact, and network with Carter Machinery personnel throughout the company.
5. Strong computer and internet research skills; proficient with MS-Office products.
6. Experience working with Sales Operations and Marketing teams on related projects and tasks.

Physical Requirements:

Must meet physical requirements, including regularly standing, walking, using hands, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, and hearing. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
