Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C., is hiring an Engineering Project Specialist in Richmond, Virginia. The Engineering Project Specialist position supports the coordination, status reporting, and stability of Power Systems Engineering projects that impact Carter Machinery and Power Systems. We seek candidates with previous service-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Requirements for the Engineering Project Specialist include:

1. Self-starter able to work with limited supervision.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
4. Ability to communicate, interact, and network with Carter Machinery personnel throughout the company.
5. Proficiency with MS-Office products and strong computer and internet research skills.
6. Experience working with Sales Operations and Marketing teams on related projects.
7. Ability to handle large volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

Must meet physical requirements, including regularly standing, walking, using hands, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, sitting, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 10 pounds.
