Job Opportunity: Engineering Project Specialist

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C., is hiring an Engineering Project Specialist in Richmond, Virginia. This role supports the coordination, status reporting, and stability of Power Systems Engineering projects that impact Carter Machinery and Power Systems. We seek candidates with previous service-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

1. Work independently with limited supervision.
2. Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms.
3. Maintain high organization and attention to detail.
4. Engage and network with Carter Machinery personnel across the company.
5. Utilize strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS-Office.
6. Collaborate with Sales Operations and Marketing teams on related projects.
7. Manage large workloads in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:
