Role Description

The Commerce Cloud Functional Analyst is a key position within the SAP Customer Engagement team, focusing on B2B E-commerce applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in developing innovative customer-facing web applications in an enterprise setting. Responsibilities include collaborating with business partners, designing secure and scalable solutions, creating process flows and specifications, managing onsite and offshore teams, troubleshooting issues, and presenting solutions to management.

Responsibilities

1. Partner with business teams to enhance B2B e-Commerce experiences globally, identifying opportunities and driving initiatives.
2. Implement new cloud applications, improve existing features, and monitor performance metrics.
3. Design end-to-end solution architecture for SAP Commerce Cloud platform.
4. Develop prototypes, conduct POCs, and demonstrate new features.
5. Review business requirements, perform gap analysis, and develop solutions with stakeholder engagement.
6. Collaborate with project managers, technical architects, and vendors to define scope and resources.
7. Present solutions during design reviews and business updates.
8. Coordinate project plans, deliverables, dependencies, and risk management.
9. Create functional specifications and support development and testing phases.
10. Support performance testing and ensure readiness for production launch.
11. Manage implementation activities, resolve production issues, and handle scope changes.
12. Lead and mentor geographically distributed teams with passion and dedication.
13. Design and deploy data migration strategies.
14. Enforce best practices and standards for cloud solution development.
15. Integrate SAP Commerce Cloud with SAP S/4 HANA, SAP CRM, and other systems.
16. Identify process improvements, gather feedback, and recommend enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience implementing SAP Commerce applications in a global, multi-language, multi-currency environment.
• 2+ years in SAP Commerce CCV2 architecture, systems integration, and implementation.
• Experience as a Functional Architect for B2B/B2C eCommerce.
• Proficiency with agile methodologies in global projects.
• Web application architecture and development experience for high-traffic, cloud-based applications.
• Extensive experience with SAP Commerce modules, integration, and deployment cycles.
• Experience in performance monitoring, load testing, and tuning web applications.
• Knowledge of localization, translation, and SAP Master Data, Order Management, and Pricing configuration.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Commerce CPQ, DataHub, SAP BTP, and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of Microservice Architecture and SAP Cloud Foundry.
• Knowledge of SAP Commerce data structures and security practices.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks.
• Strong communication skills across diverse audiences.
