Description
As the FileMaker development lead, you will bring strong problem-solving skills to support and enhance a wide range of FileMaker solutions, while leading and developing other team members. Your responsibilities include:
- Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders to set clear expectations regarding timelines and scope.
- Triaging support issues and assigning them appropriately.
- Handling support cases—troubleshooting, designing, developing, testing, and resolving issues.
- Managing multiple support issues with shifting priorities and driving them to resolution.
- Leading planning and implementation of new initiatives.
- Building relationships with business partners to facilitate communication about issues and projects.
- Driving efficiency and productivity improvements through initiatives.
- Monitoring operational metrics and analyzing trends to identify root causes and solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5 years of project management experience, preferably in agile environments.
- At least 5 years of FileMaker development experience, including relationship diagrams and scripting.
- At least 5 years of experience configuring and managing multiple FileMaker servers.
- At least 5 years of experience programming database-driven websites, preferably with PHP.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience in production support scenarios.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of complex FileMaker development experience with extensive scripting and relationship diagrams.
- Experience with eCommerce systems and the Laminas framework is advantageous.
- Experience integrating with systems like Salesforce, MySQL, and SAP.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues across teams.
- Ability to identify potential data issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills across organizational levels.
- Self-motivated, thorough, and respectful of schedules and scopes.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
