Description
The successful candidate will collaborate with Apple business and technical teams across regions, as well as external payments partners and third parties. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential due to interactions across multiple regions and time zones.
The role includes responsibilities such as:
- Managing all aspects of projects, including scope, timeline, and resources.
- Influencing and persuading stakeholders with strong configuration and development skills for SAP Retail and front-end solutions.
- Working closely with POS, Data Warehouse, ABAP, Basis, and other teams during design and implementation.
- Gathering requirements to understand business needs.
- Creating project plans, managing dependencies, risks, and change requests.
- Ensuring project scope, resources, budget, and timelines are well-defined and adequate.
- Conducting functional and technical gap analyses.
- Designing scalable, flexible solutions adhering to global standards and security policies.
- Establishing design governance and solution architecture in a complex payments landscape.
- Tracking issues and driving resolutions across teams.
- Reporting project status to management.
- Overseeing testing cycles and ensuring smooth production launches.
- Managing cutover and implementation activities across multiple teams.
- Handling scope during warranty support for a successful handover.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in functional design and configuration, including specifications for user exits, interfaces, reports, etc.
- 5+ years of SD functionality experience in the order-to-cash process, including billing and FI/CO integration.
- 5+ years of experience in payments processing (credit cards, loans, wire transfers, mobile payments).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Technology, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership experience with the ability to drive efficient, secure, and compliant designs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure independently.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects.
- Ability to manage scope and timelines across multiple projects.
- Experience with SAP FI, SD, ECC, SAP IS Retail, and SAP Portal landscape.
- Strong communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Experience or familiarity with S/4 HANA is a plus.
- High-quality solution delivery in challenging environments.
- Collaborative conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of accounting principles is advantageous.
