Job summary

Terracon in Texas seeks an experienced project manager to oversee facilities, environmental, or geotechnical engineering projects from scope to completion. You will ensure safety, timeliness, and budget adherence while coordinating with clients, APR, and external vendors.

The role requires a technical degree and substantial project leadership experience; responsibilities include planning, reporting, and resource coordination to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline with relevant practice.
• Minimum 5 years’ related experience; alternative: 9 years with no degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a small to medium sized project.
• Define project scope, schedule and budget with client or NAM.
• Design, communicate, and implement a project plan.
• Lead safety efforts including approved safety plan.
• Resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Develop resources, schedules, budgets and forecasts; select materials and staff.
• Coordinate with APR for oversight and reviews.
• Coordinate with accounting for financial management of invoices and collections.
• Communicate project status through meetings and reports.
