Job summary

Terracon is seeking a seasoned project manager to oversee facilities, environmental, or geotechnical engineering initiatives. You will ensure safe, on-time delivery within scope and budget while coordinating with clients, APR, and internal teams.

The role emphasizes planning, risk management, and clear stakeholder communication. Responsibilities include developing project plans, budgets, leading safety programs, and managing resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science or geology with 5+ years of related experience, or 9+ years without a degree.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
• Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist registration/credential is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of small to medium facilities, materials, environmental or geotechnical projects.
• Define project scope, schedule and budget with client or NAM.
• Design, communicate, and implement a project plan for completing the project.
• Lead safety efforts including preparation and compliance with approved safety plan.
• Resolve operational problems to minimize delays and stay on schedule.
• Coordinate with APR and accounting for oversight, reviews, invoicing and collections.
• Develop project plans, budgets, forecasts, and resource requirements.
• Communicate status through meetings and reports to the client and project team.
