Job summary

Scott Equipment Co in Arlington, MN is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead mechanical design projects from quote through to production. You will work with engineering managers and production teams to ensure designs meet customer specs, schedule, and cost targets.

The role requires a degree or certificate in a related field, experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks, and proficiency with CAE/CAD tools; strong communication and a hands-on, collaborative approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate from college or technical school with related mechanical design experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks; CAE/CAD proficiency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Obtains job sheets and prepares preliminary drawings based on quotes and specs.
• Conducts project meetings and reviews with sales, customer and production teams.
• Performs quality audits to ensure the finished product meets specs.
• Prepares equipment documentation: parts lists, prints, maintenance manuals.
• Develops design improvements and submits drawings for evaluation and manufacturing.
• Assists in closing sales with preliminary drawings and quotations.
