Job summary

Scott Equipment Co in Arlington, MN is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead design, development, and coordination for custom machinery. You will translate customer quotes into preliminary drawings, schedule production, and collaborate with engineering managers and production teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a degree or certificate in mechanical design and hands-on experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks, plus strong project management and customer communication

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in college or technical school with relevant mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency with CAE/ CAD tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Obtains job sheet from sales quotation and prepares preliminary drawings based on quote specifications, verifying price quotation against mechanical design.
• Conducts project meetings with sales and customers to define scope and design elements throughout the project.
• Conducts quality audits of production projects to ensure specifications are met.
• Prepares equipment documentation including parts lists, prints, and maintenance manuals.
• Responds to customer equipment challenges by analyzing files and delivering solutions.
• Researches and develops new equipment designs and improvements to expand the product line.
• Prepares preliminary sales drawings to assist in closing the sale.
• Performs other responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
