Job summary

Scott Equipment Co in Arlington, MN is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead design-to-production efforts and coordinate with engineering managers and the production team. You will ensure projects meet customer specs and timelines and drive improvements across the product line.

The role requires mechanical design proficiency, drawing preparation, and collaboration with sales and purchasing. Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks, CAE tools, and MS Office is preferred; we value

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate from college or technical school; with one-year related mechanical design experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Obtains job sheet from sales quotation and prepares preliminary drawings, verifying price quotation against mechanical design.
• Scheduls production and a parts list submission to Purchasing Agent.
• Conducts project meetings with sales and customers to align expectations and design elements.
• Conducts quality audits of projects in production and resolves production challenges with customers as needed.
• Prepares equipment documentation including parts lists, prints, and maintenance manuals.
