Job summary

Didion, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead major capital projects in biofuels manufacturing.

You will manage projects from concept through startup, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Safety, and Leadership to deliver practical, sustainable solutions in a growing business. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
  • 5+ years of engineering, project management, or capital project experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading projects from concept through implementation and startup.
  • Strong budgeting, contractor management, commissioning, and project controls.
  • Experience in ethanol, renewable fuels, grain processing, food manufacturing, chemical processing, or other continuous-process environments preferred.

At Didion, you'll lead major capital investments that improve production capacity, reliability, safety, and operational performance across our biofuels manufacturing operations. Working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and Leadership teams, you'll own projects from concept development through commissioning and startup while helping shape the future of a growing business. This role focuses on leading significant capital projects, managing engineering partnerships and contractors, and delivering results that have a lasting impact on our operations.

What You'll Own

Lead capital projects through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup

Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, contractors, and project risks

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering

5+ years of engineering, project management, or capital project experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

Experience leading projects from concept through implementation and startup

Strong understanding of budgeting, contractor management, commissioning, and project controls

Experience in ethanol, renewable fuels, grain processing, food manufacturing, chemical processing, or other continuous-process manufacturing environments preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
