Design choices matter. In this role you’ll help cut energy intensity, improve yields, and reduce waste streams across biorefineries—moving the needle on decarbonization while sustaining agricultural economies. You will assist with troubleshooting issues at operating plants and develop solutions that are timely and cost effective. Education: Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience: 3–5+ years in process engineering (biofuels/ethanol preferred), with PFD/P&ID development, equipment specification, and plant optimization work.
Tools & tech: Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD and common process simulation packages (e.g., Aspen/ChemCAD).
Core skills: Meticulous attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, and the confidence to work independently after an initial training period.
