Job summary

Pape-Dawson is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil engineering projects, balancing technical quality with strong project and people leadership. Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule, budget, and client expectations, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and maintaining client relationships.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree (ABET-accredited), a current P.E. license, and 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in roadway/highway design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Minimum 5 years’ project management experience (6 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project teams to deliver high-quality work within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Manage project execution including scopes, budgets, schedules, risks, and resources.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight for deliverables such as plans, reports, calculations, and specifications.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, clients, agencies, and stakeholders to maintain alignment and timely delivery.
• Build trusted client relationships through responsive communication and sound judgment.
• Mentor and develop engineers, designers, and analysts.
• Lead roadway and highway design projects, including development of plans and cost estimates.
• Ensure designs meet standards, goals, and constructability requirements.
