Job summary

PepsiCo in Plano, TX is seeking an Engineering Project Lead to manage a team of 3-5 engineers, develop project execution plans, and drive capacity and growth initiatives through technology, equipment boosts, and layout changes. You will partner with Finance to build business cases and present at capital approval venues.

Responsibilities include leading large programs, forecasting costs, and coaching project managers.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil or Engineering.
• Strong project management skills across complex programs.
• PMI/ PMP certification is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Leads large projects and programs at field locations with minimal direction.
• Develops goals and allocates resources to deliver on-time startups.
• Manages risks and costs to meet expectations.
• Partners with R&D, Finance, HQ COEs and field to achieve results.
• Coaches project managers across multiple projects.
• Builds external connections to inform project plans and deliverables.
• Communicates effectively to enable leadership decisions.
