Job summary

Jobtailor in Livonia, Missouri, is seeking an IT project manager and QA specialist to coordinate across Product Engineering teams, drive performance improvements, and act as a quality gate before deployments.

You will facilitate sprint ceremonies, design test strategies, and develop analytical reports to keep stakeholders informed, while aligning with IT planning and program milestones to minimize delays.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3–5 years of IT or project management experience.
  • Ability to research, collect, synthesize, and analyze information.
  • Ability to create analytical reports with graphical data presentations.
  • Familiarity with QA/testing processes and release activities is a plus.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, Trinity Health policies, and compliance guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Research, collect, and analyze information to support organizational objectives
  • Identify opportunities, develop solutions, and lead issues through resolution
  • Collaborate on performance improvement activities related to program efficiency and patient experience
  • Distribute analytical reports
  • Coordinate and sequence engineering work across Product Engineering teams and platforms
  • Manage cross-team and cross-platform interdependencies, identify blockers, and drive resolution
  • Apply delivery learnings to reduce friction, rework, and unplanned delays
  • Facilitate sprint ceremonies, track progress, and communicate status to stakeholders
  • Partner with IT Planning to align engineering commitments with portfolio planning, resource forecasts, and program milestones
  • Design and execute functional, integration, and non-functional test strategies
  • Develop and maintain automated and manual test coverage across platforms, integrations, and AI-enabled capabilities
  • Act as a quality gate between Engineering and Operations by validating releases before deployment
  • Ensure defects are identified, documented, and resolved before production
  • Improve engineering delivery processes and QA practices to increase throughput and reduce operational rework
  • Collaborate with engineering leads and product owners to align coordination and quality efforts with program goals and reliability standards

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT and/or project management
  • Ability to research, collect, compile, synthesize, and analyze information and data
  • Ability to create analytical reports with graphical data presentations, identify trends, and recommend practical solutions
  • Ability to use multiple system applications for analysis, reporting, and educational materials
  • Knowledge of departmental processes and procedures; ability to acquire new knowledge
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program, Code of Conduct, policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Ability to follow complex tasks through completion and manage concurrent tasks/projects
  • Ability to use computers and other technology
  • Ability to maintain a safe working environment and use PPE
  • Nice to have: experience with QA/testing processes or release activities
  • Nice to have: Agile or Scrum experience
  • Nice to have: experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar tools
  • Nice to have: basic knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP
